10 brave volunteers will attempt to climb the 4 highest peak in each of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland in 48 hours.
The Challenge
We’re tackling 4 of the highest mountains in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland in 48 hours.
The challenge will see us summit:
Ben Nevis (1,345m),
Scafell Pike (978m),
Snowdon (1,085m) and
Slieve Donard (850m)
within a 48-hour window between 10th to 13th August 2022.
4 mountains in 4 countries for 4 Charities.
Advanta Foundation is a charitable trust that supports charities at home and abroad.
As the volunteers are climbing the 4 highest peaks in each of the UK countries, we decided to source a charity from Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Advanta Group covers the cost of the entire trip meaning all money raised will be donated equally to the 4 nominated charities.
Who are we supporting?
Ashton Secondary School caters for pupils with a wide range of barriers to learning. They aim to provide an environment which will ensure a positive destination.
Create A Dream Foundation are a registered charity setup to help seriously ill children and young people in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire region.
LATCH supports the children and their families who are being treated by the Oncology Unit at the Children’s Hospital for Wales.
Action for Children (NI) protect and support children and young people. They do this by providing practical and emotional care and support. They make sure their voices are heard. And they campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
